NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Ms. Richie Dean Mims Coleman entered into rest May 14, 2015, at Pruitt Health of North Augusta. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Ms. Coleman, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Shea (Melvin) Jackson, North Augusta, SC; a son, Solen Coleman, III, Augusta, GA; four sisters, Maxine M. King, Columbia, SC, Rosa (Paul) Locker, St. Albans, NY, Ruth Garner, North Augusta, SC and Sandra (Gary) Merriweather, Trenton, SC; a brother, Fredrick (Maisie) Mims, Jamaica, NY; four grandchildren, Asheley , Rickey, Lavon Coleman and Marlana Eberhart; two great grandchildren, Torrence McNeal and Yasmin Young; sister-in-law, Essie Mims, brother-in-law, John Plazzo, Aiken, SC a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may call the residence of her sister, Ruth Garner, 493 Lakeview Road, North Augusta.
