NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Memorial Services for Mr. Joe Melvin Clark, 70, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest May 18, 2015, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Christ Baptist Church. Interment will be private. Dr. Eddie West officiating.

Mr. Clark was a native of Edgefield County, having made North Augusta his home for the past eight years. He was a member of Christ Baptist Church and a past member of the National Bird Hunters Association. Mr. Clark enjoyed training bird dogs, competing in field trials and farming his multi-generation family farm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Josie Clark and a sister, Alice Quarles.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Brenda P. Clark and a son, Joseph Blake Clark, Augusta, GA.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Christ Baptist Church Building Fund, 770 West Five Notch Road, North Augusta, SC 29860.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 until 8.
