WARD, S.C.  – Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Rogers Timmerman, age 91, will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2 o’clock in Ward Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.

Mrs. Timmerman passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Edgefield County Hospital. She was daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Watson Rogers. Alice was a self- employed beautician for many years and later retired from the Saluda Shirt Plant. She was a faithful member of Ward Baptist Church and endeared herself to her family and friends.

Survivors include two grandsons: John Timmerman (Jennifer) of Cypress, Texas and Matthew Timmerman of Columbia, Missouri; three great grandchildren: Brock Timmerman, Blake Timmerman and Dylan Timmerman. She was predeceased by her husband, Odell Timmerman and her son James Timmerman.
