EDGEFIELD, S.C. – March 10, 2015 – Reflecting back a little over a year ago to the night of the 5th of January 2014, the local fire departments were dispatched to the shop of Log Creek Timber Company and Williams Brothers Farm. With great effort, the firefighters saved a portion of the shop and once again should be applauded for their hard work that night.
Upon evaluating the possibilities of rebuilding, the management of Log Creek Timber and Williams Brothers Farm has decided to relocate into an existing building. Log Creek and Williams Brothers Farm is excited to announce that they have purchased an existing building at 34 Hilltop Drive in Johnston that originally housed the EPI plant. We plan to move both our offices and shop facilities to the new location within the next 6 months, once renovations are complete. “This is a much larger building with lots of potential for growth in the years to come”, states Reg Williams.
We want to express our appreciation to the prior owners, Collum Lumber Company and especially to the Town of Johnston for the opportunity to call 34 Hilltop Drive our new corporate home.
