SALUDA, S.C. – Funeral Services for Mrs. Zelma Bledsoe Hamby, age 89, will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Bethlehem United Methodist Church at 3 o’clock with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 until 2:30 prior to the service at 3 pm.   Bland Funeral Home, Johnston, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Hamby died Friday, December 26, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Hazel and Mary Ann Holmes Bledsoe, was a former textile employee with Clearwater Finishing Plant and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughters: Cynthia (Ken) Nettles and Patsy (Andy) Banco; son: Ronnie Hamby; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Hamby was predeceased by her husband, Gartrell Hamby and three sisters.
