Local author and newspaper columnist, Marti Healy (seated center), is shown with one of the seven classes of 6^th and 7^th grade students at Merriwether Middle School in North Augusta with whom she spent time recently. She discussed with the students her career in writing and authoring books in general and her experiences writing her book The Secret Child in particular. Healy also donated more than 250 of her books to the students. The school was initially put in touch with Healy through the Nancy Carson Library in North Augusta.
