JOHNSTON, S.C. – Funeral Services for Cleo Asbill Turner, age 85, will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 12 noon in Bland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. of Olives Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 pm.

Mrs. Turner died Monday, November 24, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Perry and Mattie Lee Forrest Asbill. Cleo was a retired employee of Mount Vernon Mills and a member of Johnston First Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters: Linda Gibson (Simon) and Debra Link; grandchildren: Christopher Link, Angie Gibson and Daniel Gibson (Angie); and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Turner.

The family gives a special thanks to caregivers Liz, Linda, Willie Mae, Rachelle, and Patricia. They also want to thank Dr. Rainsford for many years of care and the nurses on the 4^th floor of University Heart and Vascular Tower who treated Cleo with kindness and dignity.

The family is at the residence on 405 Jackson Street.
