PLUM BRANCH, S.C. – Mr. James Patterson, 87, husband of Rebertha Gilchrist Patterson, of Washington School Road, entered into rest October 1, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services were held 12 p.m. Saturday, October 4, at Mt. Zion AME Church, McCormick, SC with the Rev. Clifford Jackson officiating. Interment was in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, Parksville, S.C. The remains lay in state in the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends  assembled at the residence at 11 a.m.
