TRENTON, S.C. – Mr. Joseph M. Anderson, 52, son of Alpha Holly Anderson and the late Joseph F. Anderson of Bettis Academy Road, entered into rest September 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 25, at Mount Canaan Baptist Church of which the Rev. G.L. Brightharp pastor, the Rev. Stevie W.Berry eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was a musician and a 1979 graduate of Ridge Spring Monetta High School. He attended South Carolina State College, Orangeburg, SC. He was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Alpha Holly Anderson, Trenton, SC; a sister, Kathy (Roosevelt) Robinson, Marietta, GA; niece, Lindsay Robinson, nephew, Aaron Robinson, Marietta, GA; uncle, Ben (Elizabeth) Holly, Columbia, SC; two aunts, Dorothy Kirby, Columbia, SC and Mamie (Garrett) Cave, Allendale, SC; a host of cousins and friends.
