EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mrs. Barbara Jones Baker, 83, of Edgefield, SC, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, in Trinity Mission Health & Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Barbara Jones Baker was born January 21, 1931, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Otis M. Sr. and Thelma Young Jones. She later united in marriage to her sweetheart Roger. She was a homemaker and her passions were teaching an adult Sunday school class and also visiting shut-ins.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, Roger Baker of the home; son, W. Worth Baker II (Diana) and grandson, Evan, of Cumming, GA; granddaughter, Jessica Schwartz (Brian) of Roswell, GA, and brother, Otis M. Jones, Jr. (Shirley) of Charlotte, NC.

A private graveside service was held in First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery attended only by the immediate family. The service was officiated by Reverend Hugh McKinney of Kershaw, SC.
