NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Mrs. Louise Tanksley Samuels, 100, of W. Five Notch Road, entered into rest July 30, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 at Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence D. Hill officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Samuels, a native of Edgefield County was a member of Mt. Transfiguration Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Ruben (Mamie) Samuels; three daughters, Ann Samuels Phillips, Joan Rope and Barbara Samuels; adopted daughter, Shirley Madison; adopted son, Jimmy H. (Betty) Mims; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
