EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mrs. Loretta Blair Patten, of Preacher Lane, entered into rest July 29, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at China Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Garrett, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Patten, a native of McCormick County, was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Heyward Patten; four brothers, Archie L. Blair, McCormick, SC; Joe (Betty) Blair, Eustis, FL; Charlie (Mildred) Blair and Leroy (Linda) Blair, Plum Branch, SC; five sisters, Ella Ree Price, New York City; Jessie M. (James) Adams, Juanita (Willie G.) Martin and Diane Blair, Plum Branch, SC; three stepsisters, Lou Gilchrist, Thelma Gilchrist, Florence, SC and Margaret L. Gilchrist, Washington, DC; a host of other relatives and friends.
