EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mrs. Janie Ruth Rearden Osborne, of Glover Street, entered into rest August 26, 2014. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Myers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Osborne, a native of Edgefield County, was a Beautician and a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Osborne; six brothers, James Rearden, Philadelphia, PA, Elijah (Ruthella) Rearden, North Augusta, SC, Jasper Rearden, Hempstead, NY, George W. Rearden, Orangeburg, SC, Joseph O. Rearden, Aiken, SC and David D. Rearden, Edgefield, SC; three sisters, Mary R. McCain, Martha O. Rearden, Edgefield, SC and Sarah B. Rearden (Nigel L. Haynes) Burtonville, MD; a host of other relatives and friends.
