JOHNSTON, S.C. – Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Frances Casey Johnson, age 90, will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013, in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends at Bland Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Augusta, GA, was the widow of the late Command Sergeant Major A. Tupper Johnson, Jr. and was a daughter of the late Benjamin Tillman and Julia Holmes Casey. Frances was a former secretary for Edwards Insurance Agency and was a member of Johnston First Baptist Church.

Survivors include son: Danny Johnson, Concord, NC; daughter: Nancy Wallace, Fort Mill, SC; brother: George H. Casey (Mozell), Rayle, GA; sister: Kathleen Wheeler (Billy), Clearwater, SC; grandchildren: Joseph Wallace (Sarah) and Kimberly Wallace Lauzon (Paul); two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother: Tillman Casey, Jr.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
