RIDGE SPRING, S.C. – Services for Everette Edward Satcher, 98, will be conducted at 3:30 pm Friday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with the Rev. Christi Pursey officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Mike and Larry Satcher, Edward King, Jonathan Cumbee, George Westbury and Mark Lybrand.  Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Thursday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel.  Memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church 1186 Mt. Calvary Road Johnston, SC 29832.

Mr. Satcher passed away Tuesday October 15, 2013.  Born in Edgefield County, he was a son of the late Julian W. and Carrie Franklin Satcher.  He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, retired Industrial Supt. and was an Army Veteran of WW II.

Survivors include a son, W. Edward (Grace) Satcher of Ridge Spring, daughter, Florence S. (Carl) Merbach of Johnston, step-daughter, Drucilla J. Wood of Aiken, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Claudie Kirkland Satcher and his second wife, Thelma Jackson Satcher.
