A report from the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office confirms that golf carts continue to be a target for thieves. The latest documented theft occurred Sunday, July 14, at a home on Highway 23 West. According to the report, thieves entered a shed on the property sometime during the previous night and took an EZ Go golf cart, a black EZ Go battery charger, hand tools, and a pad lock. The total estimated value of the items was listed to be nearly $2500.
