Since July 4th falls on Thursday we will have the market next week on Wednesday, July 3rd 4 – 6:30 pm.
You will find our special Southern traditional foods such as:
Watermelon, Blueberries(hopefully they will be ripe), Tomatoes, Yellow Squash, Cucumbers, Boiled P-Nuts, Peaches, Parched P-Nuts, Farm Fresh Eggs, Cakes, Pies, Cookies, Relishes, Green Beans, Pickles, Potatoes, Fresh Corn (hopefully), Cabbage, Onions, Bananas, Bunny Rabbits, Ducks, etc., Fresh Herbs
The arts & crafts folks will also be there with note cards, prints, homemade soaps, hand knitted & felted items. Plants, pine straw and lots more!!
Johnston United Methodist Church will be cooking B-B-Q to benefit their Missions. There will be Pulled Pork $8/lb., Whole Chickens $10, Half Chickens $7, Hash $9/qt. This will be available beginning at 1:30 pm.
BBQ, fresh vegetables and delicious baked goods could make a delicious and traditional celebration meal for your family on Independence Day and can be found in Johnston on Wednesday, July 3rd!!!!!
