Starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, Edgefield County will hold its 11th Annual American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. It will end 1:00 a.m. at Strom Thurmond High School, rain or shine. Our Relay will start at 1 p.m with the Survivor lap. Join other cancer survivors and walk the first lap that starts our event. Join us as we honor cancer survivors and celebrate life.
We will hold a Luminaria service at 10 p.m. to honor those who have been touched by cancer. You may purchase a luminaria at the relay for those heroes who have survived cancer and remember those that have lost their battle.
Twenty-five teams from companies, churches, organizations, hospitals, and schools have been raising money all year and are ready to provide games, prizes and lots of tasty treats for you to try.
Thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors and the dedication of our volunteers we are ready to offer you a life changing event that is reducing deaths and increasing the quality of life for cancer survivors. Lace up your shoes and join us in the fight against cancer.
