Monday evening the Republican Women of Edgefield County held their January meeting at Town Hall.  It was the first meeting for two new officers:  Trish Berry, president, and  Laura McKie, treasurer.

Ms. Berry thanked outgoing officers Melanie Gibson and Mary Allison Pettigrew with plaques commemorating their service.

The meeting adjourned after a lively discussion of prospective projects and fundraisers for 2013.

All interested women are cordially invited to attend the RWEC’s next meeting at 6:30 on February 18th in Council Chambers at Town Hall.
