It was a wonderful Thanksgiving in Ridge Spring. The 4th annual Community One Table dinner was a huge success. Many families volunteered at the dinner and then sat down and ate together. Young and old enjoyed the beautiful weather and the delicious homemade food. The tables were artfully decorated with cypress, pine, holly, fall leaves, and pumpkins. Each guest was asked to write something they were thankful for on a colorful leaf. The leaves were taped to the “Thankful Tree.” Without exception, the things that the Thanksgiving guests were thankful for were the nonmaterial things that really matter: family, friends, a relationship with God, their town, and their health. Thank you to everyone who helped make the dinner possible. It was a good day to be from Ridge Spring!
