The new Miss South Carolina, Ali Rogers, crowned last week in Columbia, was showered with money, scholarships, a fur coat (among many gifts) and something she can be proud of and use every day – a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Jim Satcher Motors of Johnston.
Owners and managers of the Satcher motor business, David and Michelle Satcher, were on hand for the presentation.
It was their son, Sanford, dressed in a white suit, who made the presentation on stage at the time of Roger’s crowning.
When asked what she was going to do for her first as Miss S.C., she said: “I’m going to get my car.”
