The Strom Thurmond Rebels baseball team kept their march to a championship alive Monday night at Pendleton.

Rebel pitcher Marquez Mathis secured his seventh win of the season as the Thurmond team defeated Pendleton 4 to 3 sending the Rebels to another “do or die” game against Palmetto on the road Wednesday.  Palmetto High School is located in Williamston, South Carolina.
