Fox Creek HS 5, Laurens Academy 1

Fox Creek roared into Sandlapper Tournament play last Saturday with a victory over Laurens Academy. Andrew Buist (4-1)  pitched the win for the Predators and  Quadre Castleberry stole three bases.

Fox Creek 6, Barnwell 6

Fox Creek kissed their sister Monday as they ended the game with Barnwell knotted 6 to 6.  Leading hitters for the Predators were Deondre Baskett going 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Brett Butler hitting 3 for 4 with three RBIs, a double and a triple, Quadre Castleberry with  a triple and Caleb Cox  2 for 4 with an RBI.

Strom Thurmond 15, Barnwell 3

Marquez Mathis (4-1) got the win for the Rebels against Barnwell last week.  Leading hitters for the Strom Thurmond nine were Mathis 2 for 4, Green 3 for 4, Bass 3 for 3, Rutland 2 for 3.
