NORTH AUGUSTA – Mrs. Margaret Belle Tankersley Kenrick, 75, wife of the late Warren E. Kenrick, entered into rest on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at National Healthcare. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wed., March 7,at First Baptist Church of North Augusta with Rev. Mark Owens and Rev. Roy Kiser officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park. Mrs. Kenrick was born June 11, 1936, in Augusta, GA. She was the only child of Robert J. and Irene Bobo Tankersley. She was a graduate of Winthrop College and taught Home Economics in North Augusta schools for 31 years. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta since 1960, where she was involved in many church activities. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling in the motor home to the beach and Clemson football games.

Survivors include two sons, Steve(Suzanne) Kenrick and Greg (Kim) Kenrick all of North Augusta; nine grandchildren, who called her Mer, Caroline,Kyle,Sarah, Justin, Shelby, Kelsey, Shane and Ansley Kenrick, Chase Watkins; a sister-in-law, Frances Kenrick Case and her four daughters; and several first cousins. Pallbearers will be Kyle Kenrick, Justin Kenrick, Chase Watkins, Gene Jennings, Jacob Jones, and Steve Johnston. The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 6, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
